Mission Minute Hi Everyone, It is once again time for the annual Christmas stockings for the youth who have attended the shop.  This year we are going to once again purchase typical Canadian wool socks and load them up with goodies, and I would like to offer you the chance to either contribute items that we will need to place in the socks or a financial gift towards purchasing the many items we will need.  Here is a suggested list so far of what we would like to put in the Christmas socks: Hygiene products for 13 ‘guys’ and 2 young ladies; Christmas baking goodies; Tim cards ($10 gift cards value); McDonald’s gift cards; Shampoo; Deodorant; Toothpaste and toothbrushes; Winter hats; Chap stick; Movie pass gift card Anything else you may think of that would be good for youth who are possibly homeless, living with a single parent, struggling with school, in trouble with the law, living at a shelter, just drop the items off at the shop and we will load up the stockings. If you would like to just donate funds towards the Christmas stockings you can mail or drop off the funds and make sure to designate that the funds are for “Christmas Stockings’.  If you are going to do some baking just drop off the food in a zip lock bag and we will freeze the goods till we hand out the socks starting December 6th.   Steve Hart BRE,CPPA, Manager, The Shop, 1225 Twinney Dr, Newmarket, ON L3Y 9E7, A program of Youth Unlimited; T: (905) 836-1433; F: (905) 836-1483; Web: www.vehicledonate.ca If you wish to help please let Steve know as they have started to distribute the socks already. A Christmas Prayer of Peace We pray to Thee, our Father, as Christmas comes again, For peace among all nations and goodwill among all men. Give us strength and courage to search ourselves inside And recognize our vanity, our selfishness and pride. For the struggle of all ages is centered deep within Where each man has a private war that his own soul must win. Dear St. Andrew’s Church Family:  I would like to give a very special thank you to the congregation of St. Andrew’s, Parry Sound, for your prayers and many expressions of sympathy to the McMaster/Heaman families.  They have been greatly appreciated at this time of much sorrow.  Sincerely, Yvonne McMaster- Heaman

For a world of peace and plenty, of which all men have dreamed, Can only be attained and kept when the spirit is redeemed. ~ Helen Steiner Rice Serving at St. Andrew’s ...
